I also think talking about it really helps—telling the story.  Women have this need to tell the birth stories.  The interesting thing is that I think no woman ever loses the desire or the need to tell the story of the birth of their children, no matter how old they are or how long it’s been since it happened. Women always love to tell that story again and again. I understand, particularly now in my line of work, that we have a need to tell the story; and in the telling of the story, we are healed.
